Intro

Time to make Shark mad. I LOVE Fall Out Boy, so what better way to keep up the streak of good Pop Punk than with one of their best works. This band gets compared to Panic! At The Disco way too much because these guys have INCREDIBLE talent and Stump is a MUCH better singer than Urie. Now funny enough i do have to hate one man who worked on this album, Pete Wentz. Not for anything he did on this album but because HE is the one who signed Panic and released A Fever You Can't Sweat Out on HIS label originally. No hate to his music but fuck you for giving the world P!ATD. 

Thoughts & Feelings?

I love this album, its a great mix of Emo and Punk with just enough pop aspects to make it Pop Punk. The songs are very well made and I honestly prefer this album over From Under The Cork Tree (Their breakthrough album). Well that's enough of that lets get into some songs. 

Smash Or Pass?

Thriller- SMASH. Shoutout to Michael Jackson. JAY-Z FEATURE ON AN EMO ALBUM????? GOD PATRICK IS SUCH A BETTER SINGER THEN URIE. Perfect opening song for a Pop Punk / Emo album. 

"The Take Over, The Breaks Over"- SMASH. Another PERFECT Pop Punk song. This band really is Panic if they were good. Stump is an amazing singer and I will not take Shark's slander of him. PIANO IN A PUNK SONG?????? Like not how its used in Welcome To The Black Parade like its used here. 

This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race-SSSSSSSSMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHH. AHHHHHHHHHHH THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE EMO. SUCH A GOOD SONG. Great use of Punk instruments, Pop vocals, Emo lyrics, and cool electronic parts. 10/10 song and best so far.

I'm Like a Lawyer with the Way I'm Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You)- SMASH. FUNKY AS FUCKKKKKKKK. This song is DEFINITLEY more pop than the others so far but is still an amazing song. 

Hum Hallelujah- Smash. Pretty generic sounding Emo song but still rocks. Great instrumentals and Stump's vocals are on point again. Great song.

Golden- Smash. This is a pop track. Piano instrumental with well sung vocals and acapella background. That being said this is a FANTASTIC pop track. Great mood changer, especially gets everyone ready for what's next. We ALL know what's next.

Thnks Fr th Mmrs- SSSSSSSSSSMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH- PANIC! AT THE DISCO CAN FUCKING SUCK IT. THIS IS THE GREATEST EMO POP TRACK EVER MADE. THIS SONG IS SINS NOT TRAGEDIES BUT SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER. SAME CLASSICAL OPENEING, SAME THEATRIC VOCALS, SAME EVERYTHING BUT HOW FUCKING GOOD THIS SONG IS. THIS SONG SLAPS. GOLD MEDAL. And yes, I do have Great Memories thanks to this song. 

Don't You Know Who I Think I Am?- SMASH. Right back to that more pop sounding Fall Out Boy we all know and (SHOULD. GAVAN.) love. This song slaps, great vocals and cool guitar work. the production is AMAZING on these songs. 

The (After) Life Of The Party- Smash. This song is again way more pop sounding than the last 2. Not as bad as Golden but still more of a pop track than Emo or Punk. 

The Carpal Tunnel Of Love- SSMMAASSHH. MY CHEM???? This sounds like it belongs on Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, just less screamo. PERFECT Emo song. Cool distorted guitars, great vocals, good use of the whole band here. NVM THERES THE SCREAMO. THIS SONG IS THREE CHEERS ERA MCR. 

Bang The Doldrums- SMASH. Another song that sounds EXACTLY like Panic, only if Panic was good. Definition Emo lyrics here with shit like "Ex-Friends till the end" but again, this is a DESIGNED EMO album by an EMO BAND. 

Fame < Infamy- SSMMAASSHH. LOUD AS FUCKKKKKKK. This sounds almost metal but with pop vocals. This song is great. Perfect song to start winding this album down. 

You're Crashing But You're No Wave- SMASH. Another perfect Punk track. This is PEAK Emo. Great singing, amazing punk instrumentals, this song SLAPS. It even uses piano and choirs again. OH FUCK THAT SOLO. SHORT BUT AMAZING.

I've Got All This Ringing In My Ears And None On My Fingers- Smash. Funky start but VERY pop sounding. Yup this is a Pop track again. Not bad at all but this is 100% a closing track. Vocals are at their BEST here. Patrick puts on a show for this last song. OOOHHH GUITAR SOLO. 

Conclusion. 

This album is amazing. ANYONE trying to get into Pop Punk/ Emo should listen to this one. The big hits are amazing ofc but do NOT sleep on the smaller tracks. EVERY song on this album is an absolute bop. This band really is Panic if they were good.
